Fortress of Doom
Grace 3 months
Grace has decided, in recent weeks, that she really, really doesn't like this whole diaper changing thing. At daycare, she just cries and pouts about (unless it's Mia, than she smiles and coos makes liars of us all.)  At home, she's taken to making a break for it and crawling as fast as she can into her Fortress of Doom (Einstein tunnel) and mocking Mommy's heroic efforts to put a new diaper on her.

She forgets Mommy can still squeeze her fat ass in there!

Go mommy!

Maybe you could think of this as preparation for chasing after her when she's a teen? That's a lot of fun! You'll be playing the "hide mommy's car keys" game for real then!

Or, on a more encouraging note, 'cause I'm nothing if not encouraging, you can think that Grace's aversion to diapers and diaper changing may make her fast to potty train!

Oooh, yeah, that sounds like fun.

LOL! I'm already stockpiling little dresses in 18 and 24 months for next summer.

Turns out, totally doesn't make her fast to potty train. Neither does giving the other kids M&Ms when they tell me "I just went pee-pee on the potty." She just gets mad about not getting any M&Ms.
